The First Celebrity Gets Voted Off Of I’m A Celebrity

Posted by REALITY REHASH on June 4, 2009 under I'm A Celebrity, NBC | Be the First to Comment

On last night’s I’m a Celebrity we learned that Heidi and Spencer wanted to come back to camp and that their fate was in the hands of their fellow celebs. Following the live show, the group discussed their decision and it was rather split. Angela, Frances and Lou were against letting them return while Stephen, John and Janice wanted to give them a second chance. We won’t know until Monday night what their “fate” is, which doesn’t make sense. I think they’re letting them carry over to try and gain ratings but since we saw so little of Speidi tonight I assume they won’t be returning. The remainder of the episode was mostly about Janice and the first dealt with her stealing issue.

Many items had gone missing around the campsite and it all stemmed back to Janice. She took Angela’s hair pack, John’s pillow and Torrie’s underwear. Nobody spoke to her about it so I assume the issues will continue and if they do, that’s good for us. It could lead to more drama and Janice freaking out is always a good thing. The other issue dealt with Janice being sick, you couldn’t tell? She’s been spitting mucus around the camp and some feared for their feet. They all walk barefoot in the jungle, apparently, so the idea is that they will step on the mucus and get sick. If you’re walking BAREFOOT in the JUNGLE that’s probably the least of their worries.

Daniel’s entrance to the game also got some airtime since everyone seems to like him. He fits in well considering he wants to actually work and for some that’s the best thing in the world. When it came to the food trial the guys chose him and John while the ladies sent Torrie and Patti. The challenge was to race through the mud under a fence and grab a cube puzzle piece. They then had to drag it back through the mud and once all pieces were returned they could reassemble the cube. It was a standard reality show challenge and the guys won yet again. Patti and Torrie did pull their weight but sucked at the puzzle, giving John and Daniel the win for the guys. Yet again.

Before the vote for who was leaving was revealed the group ate their last dinner together and were finally getting along. It seems they all like each other now but are still spilt about the Heidi and Spencer thing. Them leaving really brought the group together but one of the ladies had to leave. Tonight we learned who that would be LIVE. It came down to Angela or Torrie as Janice and Frances were revealed to be safe. In the end Angela was revealed as receiving the least amount of votes to stay, making her the first person to be eliminated from the game but not the first to leave. Will the two others return on Monday? I have a feeling it’s all a ploy for watchers but from tonight’s episode I assume that the show will remain Heidi and Spencer-less.

RobRob Revals What Life Was Like as Solitary’s Pod 4

Posted by REALITY REHASH on March 10, 2009 under Fox Reality, Interview, Solitary 3.0 | Be the First to Comment

Soiltary 3.0 had a super fan this season and his name was RobRob. If you were a fan of Solitary you probably felt right there with him as he represented everyone who loves reality tv and finally got the chance of their dreams. We got the chance to ask RobRob a few questions about his life as Solitary 3.0’s Pod 4. He let’s us know how Val’s experience compared to his home built Pod and how his life has changed since the show.

Congrats on making the final two RobRob and congrats on getting on the show! It seems hard lately for fans of any reality show to get cast. What are your suggestions for those who want to apply for future seasons of Solitary or their favorite reality shows?

Thank you.  It was like a dream come true.  When anyone asks me about getting on the show, I like to direct them to the testimonial I wrote for the website which I got cast from www.realitywanted.com.  The direct link is http://www.realitywanted.com/newsitem/1616-a-note-from-realitywanted-member-rob-hekal-of-solitary-30.

Can you let us in on how you practiced for the show? You said many times that you practiced things like counting the minutes and writing backwards. Were these things you knew Val would throw at you are just things you did for fun?

To practice for the show, I built my own pod in my living room.  I decided to make it half the size of a real pod so the real one wouldn’t feel so confining.  I practiced most of the tests and treatments from the first two seasons.  But my main focus was on the 8 things that were similar between the first two seasons like beds of nails, eating, spinning, brain washing, time estimation, sleep deprivation etc… As you could see, my time estimation was horrible even after all of my practice.  It was shocking.  At first I tried to make excuses for it like Val counting or the eulogy, but we were all under the same conditions, so I just sucked and deserved to be hung from the ropes.  As for writing backwards, I have been doing that since I was a child.  I even taught myself to write left handed, and write backwards with both hands.  No one knows what Val is going to throw at them while in Solitary.  Most of the angst is caused because of this fact of never knowing what she is going to do to us next.

In Search Of The Greedy

Posted by REALITY REHASH on February 17, 2009 under In Search Of, Reality Casting | Be the First to Comment

They say money makes the world go round. It’s true! People will do anything for MONEY.

So let me have the pleasure of introducing to you, to a game that will forever be the one you would have always wanted to have joined. GREED!

The game of GREED! is a new reality series in which 15 contestants participate via web cam for a chance at $1,000 dollars CASH! I did not stutter I said $1,000 Cash!

If you think you’ve got the stuff and know you’re tired of every other boring online reality game…then play something worth your time!

Please send all video applications to : TheGameDotCom@gmail.com

Please note the following rules apply:

1.) The Game is GREED! NOT BB, SURVIVOR, or any other reality show you have seen, do I make myself clear?

GOOD!!

2.) There will be two challenges per week via webcam…why? : Cause if you think typing in some chat room is ever going to get you a chance at winning some big bucks then guess again!

3.) I don’t care what kind of online resume you have for ORGS, I’m not looking for people like that, in fact just as easy it was for you to type it, it will even be just as easy for me to press the delete button! I think that clears that up for you?

4.) I will need you to be available, so if you don’t want to participate w/e I don’t care. Its One Grand that can go to someone else.

5.) Please don’t complain and bother me about if you got in or not, cause I will just write you back this : “CONGRATULATIONS!!! Not for being casted for GREED! But for annoying the Host so much that he will NEVER CAST YOU FOR ANY OTHER SEASON!!”

6.) This is a Legit game. No Pranks. No Faking Stuff, this is run by an adult and is intended for Adults to play. (If you need this in spanish I’m sorry, I speak english)

7.) I have the right to be as sarcastic as I can. It’s what I do best!

8.) As I mentioned before this game is not fake, in fact this will be the foundation of hopefully what a series can be evolved into, as for the money, the money is real as well. I realize many people are questioning this, but understand the business lingo “If you want to make money, you will have to spend money.” Also just to give you a heads up, I will not send a check or a COD, so please have a paypal account…if not your wasting your own time!

9.) Any questions please contact my business email address at TheGameDotCom@gmail.com

10.) An finally like I mentioned before this is a webcam game, so please be advised that you will need a webcam to participate.

Those are the questions that I will answer so far.

As far as applications go, please do the following:

I will need one video from you explaining why you should be casted.

Within this video I will need you to do the following?

Name:
Age: (If your under 17 please let me know)
Location:
Why are you applying?
What makes you a good candidate for this game?
Anything interesting about yourself?
And Blah Blah Blah….and soo on!

Make yourself interesting, don’t just sit there and bore me, you won’t get casted! This is a real game so take it serious being that money is involved. Simply put: DON’T GO AND WASTE MY TIME!

CBS Ties The Knot With “Arranged Marriage” Project

Posted by REALITY REHASH on February 2, 2009 under CBS, Reality News | Be the First to Comment

If you can’t tell I love me some CBS reality shows but this new one makes me want to cringe. The show is titled, for now “Arranged Marriages” and will follow four people as their family selects a marriage partner for them and they get married. It’s not exactly just a documentary of cultures we generally see as having arranged marriages. Rather its spinning the custom into a reality format where American families will choose a mate for their son or daughter and they will actually get married. The concept isn’t new to reality TV but the CBS project seems a bit more legit at least. It won’t be America choosing who gets married, but a family who actually knows the person. Also it will be a documentary more then a competitions as the lives following the marriage are what will be the meat of the show. I’m still not too sure how well things will turn out, but here is hoping it gains some attention. I bet it will get some flack like Kid Nation did, but with CBS still struggling to find a new hit reality show I’m sure they will try anything right now.

So will you watch a show where people are married by their families? Leave a comment and give your opinions!
