The rain is a drenching on Survivor Samoa as it hinders both game play and challenges with over 48 hours of rain. The episode left off in a sad state as Shambo seemed even further from her tribe than ever before. Being the only one out of the loop forced Shambo to tears and her tribe would beat her down further as the show went on. The next morning was all about the reward challenge and the ocean. Erik tried to take a dip in the water but with the strong current that wasn't possible. Not sure why we got five minutes of Erik in the ocean, guess all the rain later on could be the cause.

Over at Foa Foa Tree Mail left them all know that they would be eating. Well eating disgusting stuff at least. Ashley spoke out early on that she can eat anything but Liz didn't believe it. There was some drama when Liz told Russell her feelings on Ashley as Russell began to believe that Liz is on to him. More on that later. At the reward challenge all were correct as Jeff pulled out Samoa Smoothies. One from each tribe would roll a ball to see what food would go into the blender. The tribe to drink the most out of five smoothies would win a BBQ dinner to take home but it all came down to the last pairing. Dave and Ashley got the worst ingredient of them all, sea slug guts. Dave drank it down no problem but "I'm amazing" Ashley had trouble. She couldn't swallow the last gulp and as she ran to the back to puke, Galu celebrated. All but one member.

With Galu winning that meant Russell got to send someone to Foa Foa. He chose Shambo, again, who fought against the idea. She just went over there and helped them win the challenge, yet didn't get to eat any of the food. It was a shady move on Russell's part and I'm starting to hate him a bit, but his tribe doesn't care. Over at Foa Foa Shambo was welcomed to opened arms. They all love her there and felt her pain, considering they weren't eating either. After a group hug Shambo shared all clues to the Hidden Idol. It ended up hurting Foa's Russell's game as people now suspect the idol to be missing and Liz even knows he has it. She confronted him and his screaming at her to "back off" basically should give her a signal that he 100% has the idol. Hopefully she can pull something together but the rain kinda killed that this time around.

Back over at Galu there was some drama for once, not involving Shambo. Their meat was a plus but nobody knew how to start the fire. Russell has been on a "I'm a leader" kick yet when he can't do something he doesn't ask for help. Dave spoke up and said he could do it, but wanted to wait for the leader to tell him. That's what Russell has been doing, ordering people around. But when he doesn't want them to be ordered, he flip flops and goes against them for that. People... Russell is just as annoying as the other one. Who I'm leaning more towards now since Russell on Galu is just a cocky, annoying and overall unlikeable guy. Yeah... no Galu Russell love from me.

It was then time for the rain to start pouring as both tribes got hammered. Dave had to build a bridge just to get to the Tree Mail but that didn't stop the challenge from moving on. When they arrived at the challenge beach, Shambo returned to Galu unwelcomed. Only Erik hugged her while Monica, who is starting to annoy me now that she's actually talking, spoke to everyone. Saying that she's cold so she can't hug... um doesn't she know what body heat is? The challenge was a quickie with a male and female from each tribe holding a basket. The others would then throw coconuts into the basket with the winning tribe being the one who could hold on the longest.

Galu was in the lead the entire time as Foa Foa sucked at putting any coconuts into the basket of Russell and Laura. Liz and especially Russell got pounded by Galu with Russell going out first, after a massive amount of baskets made and Liz dropping out after. Liz held up more than anyone expected. It was amazing and she deserves to stay for a LONG time after that. With their loss Foa Foa then had to return to Tribal Council yet again. There was no time for strategy though as all were huddled in the shelter with no wiggle room to discuss the vote. We got confessionals of all six during that time and got to hear from some we haven't heard from in awhile but nobody really had their mind made up. It came down to Liz or Ashley and it was based on trust and strength. After a warm Tribal Council, for Foa at least, the votes were in and Ashley was sent home. She didn't really want to go but probably was happy to get out of the rain.

I'm starting to root for Foa more and more now that they love Shambo and everyone else, minus Erik, are being idiots on Galu. Next week someone gets taken out from medical. I really hope it's not Shambo because if it is then the show is going downhill and fast.
