Survivor Samoa's Dominate Tribe Down After Two Tribal Councils

Survivor pulled a first by voting out two castaways post merge but what a great idea, and plays out much better, then doing a double Tribal Council during the tribe phase. The night begin with Russell telling Shambo that things are still good, even though he lied to her and is still lying to her. She believed him though and things went on with Russell in control. The following day things bounced back though as Jaison made a strange move. He told Brett (who?) and Monica that Russell only has a few days to play the idol and oh, he's a multi-millionaire. Apparently Jaison was told at some point as was Natalie but now basically everyone knows.

The first, yes first, immunity challenge was Survivor Bowling. Using actual games as challenges has been a theme this season and it's kind of dragging on, hopefully they'll pull out all the stops for All Stars 2. They would play two at a time, the person to knock down the pegs after two balls would move on. In the end it came down to Shambo and Jaison. Shambo was doing well but was nervous at the end, getting her two gutter balls. Jaison pulled out the win, for his second time, after knocking down a few pegs and his days continued on the dreaded island.

Back at camp Shambo was all for Dave going, yet again. Russell and Foa Foa were too until Monica planted a seed. Yes... a Monica seed. Sound familiar? She told Russell that its pointless to keep Dave when Shambo can easily beat anyone in the end. Russell somewhat bought the bait and discussed with others the possibility of Shambo going. It came down to the Tribal Council though to decide and I was kind of worried for her for a second. The way Russell was talking he seemed Shambo was going, but it ended up being Dave and the one who most think stalks little kids (you know who you are) was sent packing leaving Foa Foa up in numbers for the very first time.

The morning after Dave's vote off people realized that Brett was still in the game and that he was liked by everyone. Russell realized it at least, but by him doing it and verbalizing it everyone else did. Brett has slid through this game and if he wins I'd be a bit mad. He hasn't been on our TVs more then five minutes after around 10 hours of episodes and its pointless to not show the winner throughout the entire season. I digress though, Mick's mind started turning after Tribal Council and he realized that Russell may not take him to the end. It's the start of a turn around I believe, but it won't happen just yet.

The next immunity challenge finally featured the great water and beaches they have to use and dealt with wading out into the ocean, grabbing three bags then jumping onto a lever to put them in a basket. It came down to Mick and Brett with Brett pulling out the win, who? Yes he won and got some airtime, go Brett! Now crawl back into your hole and get voted out next episode please. Thank you. Back at camp things then shifted to Monica being voted out, since well that's their only other option other then Shambo.

Monica wouldn't go out with a fight though and stirred up tons of drama. She told Russell that Mick wanted him out and also that Jaison told him about being rich and using the idol. Russell was NOT happy and first got angry with Natalie, for doing nothing. He realized that she did nothing and moved onto Jaison where he chewed him out for telling everyone that he was rich. Jaison didn't remember doing it though, although he obviously did, and things got worse as we headed into Tribal Council. It was either Russell or Monica going this round but Russell's move could have saved him.

At Tribal Council Russell immediately stood up and put on the hidden immunity idol. That play has been used before, by Yul, and he won so maybe doing so is good luck. He and Monica then went back and forth with Monica egging him on and on. She smirked and laughed at Russell as he got angry and Jeff kind of pushed it along. Jeff was right in saying that Monica learned from Russell. Monica was ultimately voted off but she's planted a seed and one that could see Russell finally go.
