The Ghost Adventures crew battled their toughest, and more evil, location yet in Poveglia Island. The guys went international this week by traveling
to Italy in search of ghosts. The history segment was noticeably shorter this week but I'm not complaining because they found some really crazy stuff
while on the island. It seems the location was used to bring those sick with the black plague back in the day. There bodies were burned, both dead and
alive, and many say the ground is made mostly from human ash. The guys proved this somewhat true during their stay, making it the most creepy place
they have visited yet.
It seems the island was also used to house murderers as well so it is literally an island of the dead. Many were
executed for their crimes there, both brutal crimes and health "crimes". The caretaker didn't think the guys would make it out alive, and he was
serious, and later they would learn why as the place seems to draw evil. The night began with a large X being printed in the sky by who knows what.
They guys took this as a sign that it resembled their X cameras and it surely wasn't a good sign.
In the first location they entered the "bad
room" paranormal activity began to run rampant. Nick started it off by asking the spirits to use his energy but in the end he was the only who who
didn't have any energy drained from him. After some sounds coming from no where, Aaron began to feel light headed and had to sit down. Right before
that a very visibly orb was seen going into the back of his head, which they believe showed something entering his body. A few more voices and noises
were heard when Zak noticed the EMF spiking to the highest point they've ever captured. It drained the power from the device completely and then all
hell broke loose.
We didn't get to see most of the drama but Zak became very violent, screaming at Aaron and being very forceful. Now this
isn't strange for Zak to be doing, he does it all the time on the show. Only problem was he was doing it to a person, not one of the ghosts. They
quickly pulled Zak out of the room after smashing his hand into the wall and stopped the investigation for some time. Zak and Aaron took holy oil from
their priest friend and used it to rid any demons in them but all were spooked at the events. Sometimes it's hard to believe when they things happen
but we can only assume they were true. It seems that the events leading up to the rage and energy drainage could have meant something paranormal was
happening. That or the three guys are just really good actors.
The three decided to continue on though and went to a hallway that was said to
have spirits. They caught a few voices there but nothing much so they went on to the plague field. Here is where many were burned and their ashes
spread. You could see how ashy the dust was when Zak dug into the ground. After setting up a static camera and lights the guys went into the field.
Here Nick stopped Zak from talking and just as he did that footsteps were heard running past them, up the bridge and then a loud crash as a large,
heavy light was pushed over. We don't see Aaron anywhere during this shot which makes it questionable but if it was really a ghost then wow. The guys
are getting some great footage this season and hopefully it keeps getting better from here.
The three then split up to head to different
locations. Zak went back into the bad room where taunting EVPs were captured. Nick headed off to another room where loud noises were heard but nothing
more while Aaron had the most activity. Alone he captured things crashing around him as he tried to contact a dead priest who tried to help those on
the island. He committed suicide himself and Aaron believes that is who was following him. In the end another great ghost adventure for Zak, Nick and
Aaron. It was much better having more footage from the ghost hunt and less history but I have a feeling that format won't stay for long.
